Vincent Samuel, Chief Executive Officer:
Vincent Samuel, a visionary leader, has steered the organization with unwavering dedication. Under his leadership, the Task Force has expanded its reach and impact, spearheading initiatives that have transformed lives in West Athens Westmont. Mr. Samuel dedicated 40 years of Administrative Services in the L.A. Unified School System and 20 years as Executive Director of the Positive Aging and Wellness Network. Being effectively involved in coordinating community activities and his broad diverse influences, Mr. Samuel has built a network of influential community leaders his personal motto is simple; “Because I’m Thankful”!
Jimmy Daniel, President:
Jimmy Daniel, a community advocate with boundless passion, leads the organization’s charge towards community empowerment. His steadfast commitment to the betterment of West Athens Westmont has set an inspiring example for all. Mr. Daniel’s life passion is Childrens Literacy which developed into a longevity career as a college recruiter. jimmy holds a Business of Arts Degree and majored in Business Administration and serve his community in the Real-Estate investor.
Lynda Anderson, Chief Financial Officer:
Lynda Anderson’s financial acumen has been instrumental in ensuring the Task Force’s sustainability. Her stewardship of resources has enabled the organization to continue its vital work without compromise. Lynda amplifies the passion of caring and service. Professionally, her dedication in the Healthcare Field and her outstanding client relationships stands above her abilities to manage Financial Portfolio’s with the simplest of ease. If asked she would tell you that her ultimate passion “Is to Serve My Community” and make certain there are opportunities for those that cannot speak for themselves.
Beverly Matthews, Secretary:
Beverly Matthews, a diligent and organized professional, serves as the organizational backbone, ensuring smooth operations. Her meticulous record-keeping and administrative expertise are invaluable. Beverly brings over 20 years of experience in resource development, business finance, community organizing, consulting, and training. Beverly currently serves as the Education Director of the Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center, Co-Founder of the Los Angeles Film Kitchen, and a steering committee member for the Office of Violence Prevention for Westmont-West Athens Community Action for Peace.
